When Queen Elizabeth carried three Launer London handbags during the Diamond Jubliee festivities, the company got lots of new business!
In spite of the fact that their website crashed, due to the high amount of traffic, they saw sales of Her Majesty’s handbag styles increase 58%.
Launer’s managing and creative director Gerald Bodmer said:
“The royal family still means huge business for the UK, and there is still a big international appetite for any and all things associated with royalty. What we have seen here is more requests in trend-led designs, with customers seeking to put their own stamp on our signature bags.├óΓé¼┬¥
The Duchess of Cambridge better look out because it seems like there’s still a Queen of trendsetting in the fam!
