Everybody Loves Raymond, but nobody likes breast cancer!
Sitcom star Ray Ramano is finally opening up about his wife’s breast cancer struggle, which thankfully had a happy ending.
Anna Scarpulla discovered a lump in her right breast in February of 2010 and was diagnosed with “invasive breast cancer.”
Fortunately, after four rounds of chemotherapy she was able to make a full recovery, but since others aren’t so lucky, the couple is going public with their experience. Ray explained their decision to People magazine by saying:
“The reason we’re going public is to share our experience, yeah, but to have an effect. Our goal is to help people. We dodged a bullet. Now we want to give back.”
