Ricky Gervais Is PETA's Person Of The Year 2013!

Congrats, Ricky Gervais! Ricky has been named PETA’s 2013 Person of the Year!!
We feel like every time Ricky comes up in the news, it’s because he’s saving animals, the environment or the world.
Ricky really makes a difference because he has a seriously large audience!
With his over 5 million twitter followers, Ricky has one hell of a soapbox to stand on!
He said:

“I probably don├óΓé¼Γäót do anymore than anyone else on Twitter, but with 5.3 million followers, I can reach an awful lot of people at once, and if you├óΓé¼Γäóre passionate about something that has touched your heart, chances are it will touch many other people├óΓé¼Γäós hearts in the same way.”

He’s seriously the best thing ever. Hilarious, super talented and really really caring!
Also, since he’s funny, people tend to actually listen to what he has to say!
We can’t think of anyone who deserves this reward more than Ricky!!
