Honestly, we saw this from a mile away.
Rod Blagojevich was found guilty by jurors on 17 of 20 charges today.
The charges included attempting to sell Barack Obama├óΓé¼Γäós vacated U.S. Senate seat, which was a main focus of prosecutors banking on the fact that he was actually “serious” when he made the comments over the phone.
The former governor and his wife were “shocked” (really?) at the verdict and he had this to say:
“I frankly am stunned. There’s not much left to say other than we want to get home to our little girls and talk to them and explain things to them and then try to sort things out.”
More like get home and enjoy the smell of sweet, free, air as much as possible before you get put in the clink!
Ha!
But really, it’s good to see a dirty politician get taken down. He and John Edwards could request to be bunkmates, maybe!
