Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was tased and arrested by the LAPD early Friday morning after an alleged late-night incident involving Jen Harley.
The reality TV star has officially been charged with kidnapping after “another heated argument” with his on-again, off-again girlfriend at an Airbnb they are currently renting in Los Angeles.

It’s unclear what happened to start the fight, but according to TMZ, the two were allegedly involved in a shouting match around 2:30 a.m. this morning, prompting “multiple” neighbors to call 9-1-1.
According to law enforcement sources, Harley’s boyfriend allegedly slapped her, punched her, and then chased her with a knife. At that point, Jen apparently ran out of the house screaming for help, which drew the attention of nearby residents and prompting a quick police response.
It Gets Worse…
If the knife wasn’t bad enough, insiders claim Ronnie chased after Jen holding the weapon in one hand, and the couple’s 18-month-old daughter Ariana Sky in the other. SERIOUSLY?!
The Bronx-born reality star couldn’t catch his baby momma after she fled, so he eventually retreated to the house with Ariana — and the knife — in tow. That’s when cops showed up and were forced to break down the front door after the 33-year-old refused to open it. Sources claim the LAPD was concerned for Ariana’s well-being and felt she could be in danger alone in the house with Ronnie.
Once inside, though, he still didn’t go quietly; the controversial reality TV star reportedly resisted arrest and was eventually tased in order to be subdued. According to police insiders, Jen told the cops Ronnie’s final bout of wildness — leading to the taser — allegedly came about because he “went off the rails after doing [cocaine].” Ugh…
As happens with many taser incidents, the LAPD took the embattled baby daddy to the hospital first to get checked out after his eventful arrest. Doctors cleared him at that point, and the TV star was booked into jail right around 6:00 a.m. local time on Friday morning.
Thankfully, neither momma nor baby suffered any significant physical injuries. However, police apparently noted Jen “did have visible marks on her face,” which is a detail that may loom large in future legal proceedings.
So, Not Back Together?
One of the craziest parts of this whole story is that not even 12 hours before the incident, TMZ saw Ronnie and Jen out and about in Beverly Hills, as happy as can be. The pair proudly declared at the time that they were back together and trying to make it work. And now, not even a full day later…

Truly, just a stunning thing to wake up to on Friday morning. Ronnie and Jen have been through a lot together — and allegedly done a lot to each other — but this one appears to be really serious, and really scary… even for them.
