Pet Salon Makes Cats Green And Dogs Look Like Bumblebees! Why Do They Do This? Because Otherwise Animals Look Boring!

We’re not sure how we feel about this!
Daria Gotz is the owner of a pet salon in Yekaterinburg, Russia, that has gained attention because of their offerings of transforming people’s pets into bright and colorful new animals!
Including turning a cat into a green dragon and a dog into a bumblebee!
However a BIG issue is whether these dyes are potentially harmful to these little fur balls.
The owner Daria Gotz said:

“Those dyes which we use are absolutely pet-friendly and producers claim that they have a healthful effect on the animals’ coat. The dyes are made from natural botanical extracts, they are Korean.”

The owner of the dog who is now a bumblebee loves her pet’s new look! Ekaterina Aidimirova said:

“It was boring so we decided to make our dog bright, summery, adorable, and dyed her hair like a bee – a colorful look.”

A spokesperson for the RSPCA disagrees with these notions, and thinks no animal should be painted or dyed just because their normal coat looks “boring.”
The spokesperson said:

“This could have potentially fatal consequences. Pets could potentially find being held and restrained whilst the dyeing process is undertaken very stressful. Cats are highly fastidious creatures and will groom any substance from their coats to keep themselves clean. Having an unwanted substance in their coat could lead them to ingest the dye. Our pets are living creatures and dyeing them in this way sends out an extremely worrying message that they could be viewed as novelty accessories rather than as intelligent, sentient animals.”

Wow!
We definitely would NOT take the risk to even see if fatal consequences do exist.
We personally think puppies and cats look adorable just the way they are! But we guess some people will never be satisfied!
Hopefully the Russian pet salon owner is right and these dyes are safe! If only for the dogs and cats that have undergone these bizarre transformations!
