Is George Clooney the ultimate wingman??
At the red carpet premiere for her film, Our Brand Is Crisis, Sandra Bullock revealed that back in the day her bestie was quite the matchmaker.
She explained:
“When I came out after I spent time with George, George went to him and said, ‘If you don’t marry her, I will. George is not gonna marry anybody except for Amal [Clooney]. He was waiting 30 years to do that.”
LOVES it!

Nonetheless, it’s thanks to the ER alum that the Oscar winner ended up dating their mutual friend for FOUR YEARS. Whoa!
She continued:
“But that was sort of the thing that sort of got him to just hang with me, the boyfriend. So we were together for four years after that, thanks to George.”
Well done sir.
Still, the brunette beauty has since moved on to her current boyfriend Bryan Randall. The twosome may not have been set up by her Gravity co-star, but she’s seems more than happy.
In fact, the pair recently went public as an item — not to mention, the photographer was even at Sandy’s premiere. Bravo!
Perhaps there is an epic, double date night in the A-listers’ future.
Oh, we hope so. HA!
