Talk about a weekend for celebrity weddings.
On Saturday, retired Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson tied the knot to NFL player Andrew East in an intimate ceremony in Tennessee. It’s said that the Dancing With The Stars alum wore a custom-made, strapless ivory Olia Zavozina gown for her special day.
E! News captured a particularly adorable moment (above) where Andrew led his new bride down the aisle after they exchanged their vows.

However, it appears that the twosome will share an anniversary with ABC News correspondent Gio Benitez and his man Tommy DiDario as the duo also said “I do” on Saturday too. On their nuptials, Gio wrote on Instagram:
“What an incredibly special night saying “I Do” to @tommydidario. ├ó┬¥┬ñ├»┬╕┬Å Thank you to our family and friends who made it so spectacular.”

Nonetheless, this epic weekend of celeb marriages was kicked off when Empire costars Grace Gealey and Trai Byers jumped the broom in a luxurious ceremony in a mansion on Grand Cayman Island back on Thursday. Mind blown!
Miz Gealey confirmed her marriage to Trai on the picture sharing site as she shared:

Supposedly, the private ceremony only included 50 guests who witnessed the 31-year-old head to the altar in a form-fitting, strappy wedding gown. The reception included a steak and lobster dinner and featured hip-hop, disco, and reggae music.
What fun! We’re wishing these couples only the best as they all enjoy their new roles as newlyweds.
