The Emoji Movie Finally Has A Trailer To Try To Justify Its Existence! Watch & Decide For Yourself!

Is there a don’t-get-your-hopes-up emoji we can use here?
The new trailer for Sony‘s Emoji Movie just dropped, and pulls back the curtain on the magical universe taking place inside all of our smartphones.
This colorful app-Odyssey follows Gene (T.J. Miller), a complex emoji who wants to be of a singular emotion like the rest of his “Meh” family — so he ventures outside of Textopolis with his friend Hi-5 (James Corden) and Jailbreak emoji (Anna Faris).

If there’s one thing children need, it’s to have more compassion towards the emojis they use in text convos. We’re just glad there’s a film brave enough to tackle this conversation!
That said, we’ll still totally watch this just to hear Sir Patrick Stewart playing the Poop Emoji. LOLz!
