Stephen Collins and Faye Grant have officially settled their divorce.
The two, in addition to their lawyers, spent the last four days finalizing a settlement, narrowly avoiding a public trial that was set to begin on February 9th.
Apparently, Stephen and Faye were set to address the now infamous audio tape where Stephen confessed to molesting and/or exposing himself to three children in separate incidents between 1973 and 1994.
The couple had been married since 1985.

Faye didn’t want to have her settlement compromised in case Stephen got sued, whereas Stephen has argued that the tape’s released has made him unemployable and thus he should receive spousal support.
They even worked out the ownership of their furniture.
The “7th Heaven” actor has been working to rebuild his image ever since the revelations:
“Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since.”
