As Daniel Craig‘s reign as James Bond looks to be coming to an end, British actors are getting more and more vocal about their willingness to play the iconic superspy.
Even though Tom Hiddleston is known more for his villainous personas onscreen, the Crimson Peak star would jump at the “extraordinary opportunity” to step into the role of 007!
During an interview with the Sunday Times, the actor made his adoration for the action franchise clear while gushing about the latest Bond film Spectre!

He said:
“I’m a huge fan of the series. We all went to see Spectre when we were shooting Skull Island in Hawaii. I simply love the theme tune, the tropes and the mythology. I love the whole thing.”
Wow! We can only imagine what he thought of the better reviewed Bond films like Skyfall! LOLz!
Hiddleston made no secret about his desire to don 007’s tuxedo — but he knows there’s much more to the role than looking dapper, adding:
“If it ever came knocking, it would be an extraordinary opportunity…And I’m very aware of the physicality of the job. I would not take it lightly.”
Watch your back, Idris Elba! It looks like you’ve got some competition who’s already campaigning for himself!
