Two Asian Elephant Calves Born At Ramat Gan Safari Park

Two Asian elephant calves were born at Israel's Ramat Gan Safari Park.

At Ramat Gan Safari Park in Israel, they need to pop two bottles of champagne!

Two baby elephants were born at the zoo within two months.

These little babies are related but born in such a way that the aunt is younger than her niece!

That’s right, La-Belle, 7.5-years-old, and her mama La-Petite, 28, were both pregnant at the same time!!

La-Belle ended up giving birth first, to a cute baby calf named Latangi.

The lil babe suckled from both her mama and grandma and has been growing up healthily.

Two months later, La-Petite gave birth to her baby, Lalana.

Now, both babies are healthily growing up with their mamas and their daddy Motek!

They’re one awkwardly close family, all related to each in weird, incestuous ways.

We’re just super glad that both babies are healthy!!

Congrats again, Ramat Gan!
