In an effort to focus more on their main offerings, Victoria’s Secret will be immediately ending production on their apparel.
That means you can say bye to their denim, maxi skirts, cardigans, and more, which will most likely will be phased out and unavailable to purchase by the time fall comes around.
But before PINK fans go into a panic, we should mention that they will continue selling the line, as well as their swimwear coverups and nightgowns. Essentially, anything that correlates to their “core” offerings and what you can already find in a store, will stay!
Yet, the news still comes as a shock since it was reported that their apparel offerings were quite profitable, though the CEO of VS, Sharen Jester, revealed:

“We know we├óΓé¼Γäóre most successful when we remain focused on our core. As we look to double the business and continue our international growth, this alignment of apparel categories with the core attributes of Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós Secret and Pink will provide a cohesive brand experience for our customers in stores, online and through our catalogue.”

We can only imagine what this will have in store for the future of the brand. Sadly, you can be sure there will be layoffs.
