Today, we celebrate the birth of one of our favorite celebrity kiddies!

Suri Cruise turns 6 and just as we imagined, the li'l girl celebrated her big day in style.

She and momma Katie Holmes spent the day out on the town in NYC, going shopping (of course) and then heading to Midtown Manhattan's Mint Theater where they caught an afternoon matinee of Newsies!

A Broadway Baby indeed!

Even though it was her special day, Suri seemed to have a scowl on her face. But that's only because she was hounded by the paparazzi!

Oh, the life of a miniature diva!

Hope you had a FABOOSH day, filled with lots of pink cotton candy, teddy bears, unicorn smiles, and sparkly pumps, Suri! Always the best for you, baby gurl!

Tom Cruise has already been named a cinematic icon, but Katie Holmes still has some work to do to get to that level of stardom.

Needless to say, the 33-year-old still has PLENTY of time and has lined up her next project. The actress is in negotiations to join a seasoned ensemble cast in the adaptation of Anton Checkhov’s classic play, The Seagull.

He's just being Dawson!

James Van Der Beek recently revealed that his infamous ugly cry face on the Dawson Creek episode "True Love," season 3, episode 23, was completely unscripted.

No crocodile tears for this guy! Those salty drops streaming down his baby face were allllll real.

He confirms:

Katie Holmes must be working out...Suri is getting awfully big to be lugging her around all day!

The mother and daughter flew to Nawlins to see daddy Tom Cruise on the set of his new flick Oblivion.

Dressed from the humid Louisianan weather, the two sparkled as they fed some ducks.

Suri seems to be taking a liking to those duckies!

Yesterday, like everyday, was an exciting day for Suri Cruise.

Hollywood's princess took over NYC with her mom, Katie Holmes, and granny Holmes. The trio spent the afternoon stimulating their creative side, painting ceramics at a shop on the Upper East side. (The only side Suri knows about!)

An eyewitness of the arts and crafts excursion says:

"Katie was very hands-on. There was a lot of back and forth between mother and daughter. Suri was totally immersed in the creativity."

What do you expect? Suri is an artist!!

Galleries in Chelsea have shown her finger paintings (probably)!

This "arts-n-crafts" trip was most likely just meant to entertain her grandma -- and it seems to have done the trick.

Katie Holmes and her daughter, Suri Cruise, aka the People's Princess, leaped out of their car and ran past the paparazzi as they headed into a toy store in NYC.

Suri had super cat-like reflexes as she jumped over a puddle, holding an enormous stuffed animal, mind you, and dragged her mother into the store as fast as she could!

This little girl is really learning how to avoid photogs! Oh, the life of Hollywood royalty.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes spent their Oscar Sunday at the Vanity Fair party in West Hollywood.

Mrs. Cruise looked great from the neck down in her navy blue Elie Saab Couture gown, but her hair isn't working for us.

Instead of the bad high school prom half up half down hair don't, Katie should have pulled it back into a chic up do. Aside from the hair, this is probably the best she's looked in a long time.

As for Tom, he looked very handsome in his tux.
