Katie Holmes knows that no matter what is getting her daughter down, there's one cure that always works- a manicure!

The Romantics star was spotted taking her daughter Suri Cruise to the nail salon in NYC on Saturday.

Both ladies were looking lovely as they left. Suri was a pretty pink princess, while Katie was ready for action, rocking some seriously badass boots!

But most importantly, they both looked full of the confidence that can only come from a perfectly primped hand!

Considering that Suri doesn't like the paparazzi right now, we doubt that she's gonna want any extra attention anytime soon, so we're happy to hear that Tom Cruise isn't pressuring his daughter into pursuing a career in acting!

The legendary actor attended the premiere of his new flick, Oblivion in Hollywood last night, and when he was asked if his 6-year-old princess was going to pursue acting, he responded:

Yeah! Challenging, we bet!

Tom Cruise is finally opening up about his divorce from Katie Holmes, and he's totally being honest and humble about the whole thing!

Admirable!!

He tells Bunte magazine it gave him time for quality reflection, also saying:

"I did not expect that. Life is a challenge. To be 50 and have experiences and think you have everything under control, and then it hits you—that’s what life is. Life is tragicomic. You need a certain sense of humor."

None of us really expected it.

Okay, we did. But when it happened, it was still a shock.

As you may recall, the news broke last June. Wifey #3 had a major strategy planned out and was totally prepped to drill him into the dirt, but luckily both parties were able to deal with it faster than originally thought.

That's right, the former Mrs. Tom Cruise was having NONE of it yesterday afternoon when a photographer got a little too up close and personal in her space while she tried to get into her car in Tribeca, NY yesterday afternoon, and went so far as to PUSH him out of her way!

There have been plenty of rumors about Katie’s love life ever since her divorce with Tom Cruise, but yet again, another one is wrong!

The most recent love match she’s been placed in is with jazz musician Peter Cincotti.

And while they were rumored to have been on a few dates after meeting a couple weeks ago, Katie isn’t going to be jazzing up her life anytime soon.

Katie took adorbz Suri Cruise to the Four Seasons hotel for the sugary sweet holiday where they had a dressy girl’s day out!

Even though Katie was poppin' in hot pink, Suri might have managed to edge out her momma with a poufy white dress and fabulous silver sparkly shoes.
