Late Night Sounds Off On Donald Trump's Inability To Condemn White Supremacists After Charlottesville Rally — 'Ignoring It Is Just As Bad As Supporting It'

What a horrible weekend.

On Monday night, late night hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and Stephen Colbert all criticized Donald Trump for taking TWO days to condemn the KKK, neo-nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups (by name) following the violence in Charlottesville on Saturday.

In a serious monologue on The Tonight Show, Fallon (who typically remains pretty neutral) said:

"The fact that it took the president two days to come out and clearly denounce racists and white supremacists is shameful … And I think he finally spoke out because people everywhere stood up and said something."

He went on:

"It's important for everyone, especially white people in this country, to speak out against this. Ignoring it is just as bad as supporting it … We all need to stand against what is wrong, acknowledge that racism exists and stand up for what is right and civil and kind. We cannot do this. We can't go backward. We can't go backward."

Preach.

Kimmel, Meyers, and Colbert took it even a step further by proving how easy it is to denounce white supremacists… something our President failed to immediately do after the events in Virginia.

Donald Trump's soft response to white supremacy continues to cost him his favorite type of backers — CEOs!

The president's approval ratings dropped to an all time low after he went two whole days without condemning white supremacists following the deadly rally in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.

This time, it's more than just the "liberal snowflakes." CEOs are standing up to the Big Cheeto by stepping down from his American Manufacturing Council!

On Monday, Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank and Merck Pharma CEO Ken Fraizer resigned from The Donald's council on manufacturing jobs to call attention to his light response to the rally amid the heated political climate.

Not too long after, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich stepped down from the council as well, noting that "political agendas have sidelined the important mission of rebuilding America's manufacturing base."

Announcing his resignation in a blog post, Krzanich called out Washington for seeming "more concerned with attacking anyone who disagrees with them" than trying to rebuild America's manufacturing base.

He also addressed the violence over the weekend that left one woman dead, writing:

What a ride!

As we reported back in June, production on Bachelor in Paradise was temporarily suspended after cast mates Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson were suspected of being involved in alleged sexual misconduct.

After Warner Bros. conducted an investigation, the company found no evidence of wrongdoing, and production resumed WITHOUT Olympios and Jackson.

Fast forward to Monday, during the highly anticipated premiere of BiP, the show barely even addressed controversy — leaving us all waiting for more!

The end of last night's premiere ended with a huge tease of show-runners pulling Corinne and DeMario aside and shutting production down — but other than a few brief glances of the two messing around (fully clothed) in the pool, this definitely was not what we felt like was promised.

Here's a couple of things we did get:
