NBA Player Chris Andersen Victim Of Catfish Type Internet Hoax??

chris birdman andersen child porn scandal was elaborate catfish ruse for canadian woman

Are you sitting down, because this is a doozy!

You may remember that NBA player Chris “Birdman” Andersen had his Colorado home searched last year for kiddie porn.

Well it turns out it was all an elaborate double catfish ruse executed by a woman in Canada!

Andersen’s attorney Mark Bryant explained it all saying that 29-year-old Shelly Lynn Chartier of Easterville, Manitoba pretended to be the Birdman online.

She’s since been charged by our neighbors to the north with possession and transmitting of child pornography, personation, extortion and making threats.

Bryant also added that they knew all along that Andersen was innocent, it just seemed to be a matter of sorting out the facts.

So, not only did Shelly Lynn pretend to be Andersen with kiddie porn, she also pretended to be a woman in California that Andersen had met AND that woman’s mother!

Andersen got together with the woman in California once, and after that they talked via the internet, except for the fact that Shelly Lynn was doing the talking!

When the Cali lady got a message from Andersen, it was actually from Shelly Lynn, and when Andersen got a message from the woman, that was Shelly Lynn also!

And to top it off, when Andersen’s home was searched, Shelly Lynn, posing as the California woman, made outrageous demands posing as the woman’s mother. She told the Denver Post:

“I want him to pay for everything on her Amazon wishlist and 5k for her bedding stuff and her victoria secret wishlist.├óΓé¼┬¥

Cray cray!

Shelly Lynn was charged in Canada already, but may also be charged in Denver as well.

Andersen has done a lot of charity work over the years and has helped a lot of disadvantaged children, so what’s important here is that people know he’s INNOCENT!

It’s horrible what an accusation like this can do to a person’s life.

As for Shelly Lynn, she came from a town of less that 100 people, so maybe she just got bored and wanted to be someone famous for awhile.

Which is still a terrible, awful reason to do what she did.
