We totally thought their relationship was improving!
But we guess not enough?
Courtney Love has filed a lawsuit against a lawyer Love claims she hired who subsequently made Love’s daughter hate her!
Love says she hired Rhonda J. Holmes to help her track down millions of dollars she believed was stolen from her late husband Kurt Cobain‘s estate. Love claims the lawyer was working on the case, but never made any progress because during that time she was “too busy” doing other stuff.
That other stuff consisted of writing a hush-hush letter to Courtney’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain when Frances was only 16-years-old.
The lawyer apparently wrote Frances that there was a “very scary conspiracy” out to get the daughter. She also wrote:
“The sooner I have your support and hence the support of your Trust Fund, the sooner I can ease this matter out of your Mom’s hands.”
Love never even knew the letter existed until two-years-later. She claims the letter is a TOTAL violation of attorney-client confidentiality.
She also says the letter destroyed any trust her daughter had in her mother, and is citing extreme emotional distress over the whole experience!
Courtney and Frances have had trouble with one another in recent years, and maybe this is why their relationship is so fragile today!
