DJ AM's Estate To Sue For Wrongful Death

We’re not really sure what to make of this.

DJ AM‘s estate is suing for wrongful death Clay Lacy Aviation, the company that chartered the plane that crashed in South Carolina carrying both DJ AM and Travis Barker.

Additionally they are suing Goodyear Tire, Learjet and the estates of both pilots who were killed in the crash.

According to the documentation, they’re suing for wrongful death because “the crash ultimately caused Adam Goldstein’s death.”

The lawsuit makes note that Adam was forced to take drugs as a result of not only the burns he suffered from the crash but also to deal with the emotional distress. Adam became incredibly afraid of flying and began to take drugs to calm his nerves whenever he had to fly after the crash.

DJ AM’s death was directly caused by a combination of the various prescription drugs and cocaine and in this case they are claiming that the drugs were a result of the crash.

We just don’t know.
