Reporter Makes Donald Trump Look Like A Fool On Coronavirus Response & Twitter EXPLODES With Reactions! (Video)

Donald Trump's Axios interview with Jonathan Swan about the coronavirus pandemic is going viral for all the wrong reasons...

Donald Trump is at it again, making us all scratch our heads and wonder how the f**k we ended up in the worst possible timeline.

The President sat down with Axios political reporter Jonathan Swan for a long one-on-one interview that was published online on Monday, and to call the whole thing a train wreck might actually be a nice way of putting it.

Throughout the nearly 40-minute-long video, Trump flat-out refused to say whether he found late Congressman and longtime civil rights icon John Lewis‘ decades-long career fighting for justice “impressive,” instead repeatedly harping on how the politician ditched The Donald’s inauguration back in 2016.

Trump also repeatedly shared his well-wishes for Ghislaine Maxwell, noting how “her boyfriend” Jeffrey Epstein “was either killed or committed suicide in jail.” And he quite literally waved away Swan’s questions about US intelligence reports showing Russian leaders put out a bounty on American troops’ lives in the Middle East. On a normal day, all that would’ve been plenty of Trump’s name-brand bull s**t for one sitting, but the Axios interview gave us one even bigger jaw-dropping moment: The Donald’s fact-free take on the coronavirus pandemic.

Carrying a fistful of printed-out charts and bar graphs in his allegedly tiny hands, Trump argued with Swan about only using pandemic statistics that make him look good. This particular exchange (below) turned out to be the most memorable moment from the entire interview — and not in a good way for the embattled former reality TV star:

Wh… what? That can’t be a real exchange with a real President, can it? It’s like watching a satirical scene out of Veep or something! And not even remotely in a good way! (Then again, Veep and Axios are both on HBO, so… just saying! Ha!)

Of course, we were far from the only ones to throw up a little bit in our mouths upon watching the former boss on The Apprentice try to cherry-pick statistics on his (mis)handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Twitter blew up with incredulousness, laughter, and shock at watching Trump fumble with printed-out charts and completely bungle his response to simple, straightforward questions about his administration’s incompetence.

“Trump is so f**king stupid, it’s painful,” one commenter succinctly wrote in response to the Axios video, while another added:

“He’s just so unbelievably stupid. Look at that confused look on his face while he shuffles through printouts of random charts someone gave him. He’s out of his element and out of his mind. Come November, let’s make sure he’s out of office too.”

Amen!

Another Twitter user pointed out how absurd the President’s printouts were, writing:

“Look at the charts he was trying to hand the interviewer to convince them. BIG Bar charts with just 5 countries on them. They are charts meant for children…”

EXACTLY!

And another user hit the nail on the head about just how divided the United States is right now:

“The only thing more painful [than watching this interview] is the fact that so many people think he isn’t stupid and still support him!”

What a true and depressing thought…

BTW, if you’re not already exhausted by The Donald and can bear to sit through it, here’s the full-length version of the interview:

What in the world?!?!

Watching this makes us think Brittany S. Pierce from Glee would make a more intelligent President than our current leader. She was a do-nothing Class President, after all. F**k it, throw Lord Tubbington in for VP while we’re at it, too!

Seriously, Perezcious readers, what do U make of this absolutely absurd interview from the man tasked with leading the United States? How the heck did we get here and how soon until this nightmare is over? (Well, to answer that last question, just three more months!)

Sound off with your take on Trump’s terrible time here down in the comments (below)…
