Donald Trump is finally leaning into the giant riddle that is his presidency.
Along with the rest of us, late night TV hosts were beyond perplexed trying to decode POTUS’ latest gaffe: mysteriously ending a tweet with the word “covfefe.”

While most wrote off the tweet as a typo left up to keep the internet on its toes, Samantha Bee knew the snafu was an uncontrollable reaction to the President abstaining from his biggest vice! She quipped:
“This is what happens when you’ve abstained from your phone for 9 days, you ejaculate just like that. Covfefe!”
Hmm, maybe Sean Spicer was right when he said the word was understood by “the president and a small group of people“?
Trevor Noah had a different theory about the blunder, which was to distract the press from the fallout of his recent trip abroad.
And it worked!
Even CNN‘s Anderson Cooper had covfefe on the brain, giggling his way through Wednesday’s AC360 as he read the funniest reaction tweets — though, he may not have understood every joke.
