If there’s one thing that’s on people minds when the VMAs roll around, it’s what’s Kanye West going to do this time — and it sounds like we could be in for a HUGE surprise this year!

According to TMZ, a source revealed the rapper will take the stage at MTV‘s award show this weekend for a special segment where the College Dropout artist will get to express himself however he wants!
The insider close to production dished that Kanye is going to get four minutes on stage to do whatever his heart desires — rap, dance, go on a live Twitter rant, literally anything! The biggest surprise about this little news nugget though is executives and producers will be left entirely in the dark in regards to what West will do!
While it’s only four minutes, and nowhere close to the 11 minute speech he gave last year after accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Kim Kardashian West‘s hubby sure can do a lot of damage in less than 11 minutes, right Taylor Swift?!

What’s more puzzling though is MTV News‘ Twitter account responded to the TMZ story with a tweet saying:

Obviously we have NO CLUE what Yeezy will do either, there are rumors that the Grammy winner might use the opportunity to extend an olive branch to Swift. However, sources close to Tay-Tay have said the songstress doesn’t plan to attend. Whomp.
