She ain’t backing down!
As you’ve surely seen by now, Leah Remini has become the queen of cable after giving A&E its best ratings in nearly two years thanks to her docuseries Scientology and the Aftermath.
Tuesday night marks the halfway point of the revolutionary reality show, but the actress-turned-activist has been plenty busy promoting the series already this week!

In fact, Leah actually stopped by Larry King Now right before the holidays over the weekend to chat about all things Scientology… where she promptly challenged the “church” to sue her for a second time!
After imploring the organization to sue her for slander on Dr. Oz earlier this month, it seems the King of Queens star is still plenty confident they’d have no case.
When Larry asked Leah if she had any response to the church’s claims that her Aftermath participants are proven “liars,” she called them on their bluff, saying:
“Then they should sue us. It’s as simple as that. They say this on every outlet they can. They have said that about every single person who’s spoken out, and not one lawsuit has been brought to anybody. This is not a group that is scared of a lawsuit. They’re a litigious group. If that were true, they would simply sue us. And I welcome them to do that.”
Yaasss queen!!
So why don’t they sue?
It might be because a slander lawsuit would mean the Church would have to prove she and her interviewees are lying — and that means opening their doors to the court. We’re guessing Leah would LOVE for those court documents to go public.
TBH, we just can’t wait to see the aftermath of Scientology and the Aftermath at this point…
