FINALLY. The closing statements! That means this whole dirty thing is finally over.
In today’s Nicollette Sheridan vs. ABC legal dramz update, her lawyer Mark Baute made some surprising statements to the jury.
In particular, he called Desperate Housewives‘ creator Marc Cherry a “liar” and added that:
“Touchstone is not particularly concerned if a woman gets hit by a man who runs a billion dollar show.”
WTF!!! Can he get away with something like that? Sheesh!!
And it gets worse!
He added that Cherry’s whole defense that he planned on killing Nicollette’s character before the infamous slap, was just “a story, it is not the truth.”
He said that there were lack of documents, supposed secrecy, and that an investigation that was done by ABC human resources was “whitewash.”
He even referenced the recent episode where **SPOILER ALERT** James Denton‘s character was killed, saying it “goes to show you how far they├óΓé¼Γäóre willing to go to manage the story.”
Wow…just… wow.
This whole trial is just so petty and NASTY. We don’t know which side to believe!
