Suge Knight's Son Speaks ALL About His Father's Controversial Sentencing

Suge Knight
Suge Knight Jr.
continues to defend his father’s legacy.
As you know, Suge Knight is currently behind bars for the murder of his friend Terry Carter in January 2015. The Death Row Records label head is accused of intentionally running over Carter in the parking lot of a Compton burger stand, something his camp claims was done in self defense.
As the trial continues to face postponements, Suge Jr. is speaking out against his father’s unfair treatment in prison, the ongoing trial, and how the 21-year-old intends to defend Knight’s legacy.

In a lengthy interview with The Tomorrow Show on Thursday night, the former student — who left college in Nashville after receiving threats following his father’s depiction in Straight Outta Compton — went as far as to say that without his father, there would be no Tupac, Snoop Dogg, or maybe even Dr. Dre:

“Honestly, it’s no disrespect for them but you know there wouldn’t obviously be no Tupac, obviously no Snoop. If we went further there probably wouldn’t be Dre Beats.”

When discussing the trial, Suge Jr. believes this is more of a “civil rights case” and how black people are wrongfully convicted of crimes, and less about his father:

“This is more than a Suge Knight case. This is actually more of a civil rights case.”

He added:

“Well, you know, they don’t have no hard evidence of my dad being..to be convicted. The only evidence is him being…it having to be a self-defense case. And Two, the more that they lengthen the trial out, the more you notice that the charges are dropping.”
