Close and yet so far!

Eva Mendes is insanely gorgeous, so when she falters in the fashion department it's doubly disappointing.

Yesterday the actress paused for a photo op on her way to The Late Show with David Letterman to give us an eyeful of her leopard print Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Love the dress, but HATE those boots! What a way to ruin a perfectly good frock!

And even though she's holding her tweed coat and not wearing it, the print still clashes with her outfit.

Couldn't she have had one of her minions hold it for her while she posed???

On the bright side, that silky, flowy mane is flawless!

Are Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling thinking about that next step?

No, not marriage! The next next step! Kids!

The couple played parents on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines (Hey, isn't that where Twilight takes place? LOLz!), and according to Eva, Ryan was a natural! She says:

Eva Mendes. A sex shop. And a skull. Huh??

Caught leaving New York Soho's kink shop Kiki de Montparnasse in the rain, the gorgeous actress blew a kiss to photographers whilst carrying a shopping bag that contained a human skull replica.

This raises a few questions. Unless she or boyfriend Ryan Gosling are planning on re-enacting Hamlet’s “To Be Or Not To Be” speech, we’re not entirely sure why she or anyone would ever need a life-size skull.

On the other hand, we can't erase this image from our brains: Ryan, Eva and some late night kink?! Think on that.

Eva Mendes is all about bright colors this spring!

She's been seen in bright pink and red outfits, but she really blossomed into the season Wednesday night at the Vogue Eyewear launch celebrating her new ad campaign at Simon House in Beverly Hills.

She wore a yellow and pink knee-length lace dress by Valentino that featured sheer inserts and a scalloped trim along with maroon velvet pumps.

While we're in absolute love with her dress, some pastel or nude pumps would have fared so much better.

Her little gold clutch is to die for though!

We would, too, if Ryan Gosling was our man! Ha!

Eva Mendes traded pink for red on Monday as she made her way to the Bowery Hotel after a spree of shopping in NYC.

The actress was femme, fun, and flirty in her flared frock coupled with patterned brown tights and booties.

Her side pony, multicolored Thierry Lasry sunnies, and Carolina Herrera shoulder bag couldn't have been more perfect.

U like???

Whatever place is waiting for us beyond the pines, it is INTENSE!!!

The Place Beyond The Pines stars Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes prove once again that they are more than just a couple of pretty faces in a new ultra dramatic clip.

But what we're more interested in is seeing some camera time between Eva and her seXXXy man Ryan Gosling.

After all, this was the film responsible for bringing the gorgeous couple together. If we can't have Ryan then we're happy someone as great as Eva landed him.

Guess we'll just have to wait until the thriller hits theaters March 20!

Sure, it's a whole month after Valentine's Day, but why should that stop Eva Mendes from wearing bubblegum pink???

Besides the fact that it's spring time and pink is one of the colors representing renewal, we bet Eva is still celebrating the month of love because she gets to boink Mr. Hey Girl himself, Ryan Gosling.

Not only is she lucky enough to wake up to Ryan's face every day, but she also has amazing flowing hair with cascading caramel curls that look just divine next to her bright pink coat.

She's covering up a cute black dress, but one thing we CAN see, thankfully, are those gray Christian Louboutin ankle booties with a tilted black bow.

Come on! Are you serious?? Cute pink coat, incredible hair, shoes to DIE for, AND RYAN??? This girl actually has all a girl could ever need and want!
