Jenelle Evans Considering Divorcing David Eason Following Dog's Death -- Did He Lie About It To Cops?

Jenelle Evans might divorce David Eason following dog shooting

David Eason may have implied on social media that he shot and killed Jenelle Evans’ dog, but he apparently told police a different story.
According to TMZ, the Teen Mom 2 alum told cops that his wife’s dog, Nugget, was alive when officers went to the couple’s North Carolina home Tuesday night to perform a welfare check on their daughter Ensley following an alleged incident where the pup allegedly snapped at the 2-year-old.
Law enforcement sources say that the officers found everyone, including Ensley, to be okay. However, the outlet reports that Eason would not let them see the dog.

As of now, cops have no evidence showing anything happened to Nugget, and will not be investigating the case any further — unless, that is, Jenelle files a report on her own.
The TMZ source added that officers won’t act on “sensationalized media reports or social media posts” about the alleged killing. This includes Jenelle’s recent post on Instagram, in which she declared that her beloved French bulldog had died.

Captioning a photo of herself with the canine, the 27-year-old wrote:

“Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back.”

The mother-of-three spoke more bluntly about the incident in an interview with Us Weekly, telling the outlet that her 30-year-old husband “killed [her] dog.” She explained:

“David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley. He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house.”

The MTV personality reportedly fled her and Eason’s home following Tuesday’s incident. A source later told Us that she’s “over” her marriage, adding that the couple have been “fighting really badly” lately and are on the brink of splitting up.
Evans admitted that divorcing the pipe welder, whom she married in September 2017, was a possibility, but she needed more time to make that decision. She told Us:

“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids. [Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalized… [I] would like for everyone to just give me my own time right now to figure things out and clear my head.”

Sure, gurl. Take your time… but not too long. As PETA explained to TMZ:

“People who abuse animals typically don’t stop there.”

David seemingly justified his actions in an Instagram post in which he implied that the killing was to protect his daughter.
On Wednesday, he shared a video showing Nugget snapping at Ensley, along with a picture of the little girl’s face following the incident. Though, to be fair, the dog only snapped at the tot after she got too close to its face — and the snap didn’t appear to break skin.

Still, Eason felt that the appropriate punishment was an execution. He wrote in the caption:

“I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s**t at all… I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

So, despite what he told police, it sounds like Nugget really is in a better place.
We just hope Jenelle files a report against this disturbing man so she can take her kids ANY place else.
(And this should go without saying, but even if the dog had bitten the child, it is not up to the owner to put the animal down. Grrrr!)
