It happened. The Situation has gone to prison.
The Jersey Shore star, who plead guilty to tax evasion last year, began his eight month term behind bars on Tuesday.
On the way to the Otisville, NY, Federal Correctional Institution, Sitch, AKA Mike Sorrentino, stayed upbeat, sharing an Instagram Live video of the ride, alongside new bride Lauren Pesce.

He said:
“I’m just gonna handle this and put this behind me and move forward.”
As Lauren read him positive fan messages, the Situation we know and love popped up for a moment, joking:
“You’re going to save a lot of money on food! That’s all we spend our money on!”
Before finally ending the video with a sobering statement:
“There is nothing more to say… just take me to jail.”
