After Michael Strahan‘s 2016 decision to leave Live with Kelly and Michael, he and cohost Kelly Ripa cut all ties, despite four years of hosting together.

The former pro footballer shared in a new interview with Time magazine:
“I haven’t spoken to her in a long time. I learned through all that went down with that, you can’t convince people to like you.”
Sad stuff! Granted, his exit from the show was fairly abrupt, but shouldn’t four years of friendship and some Emmy wins mean something?
