Well now we know Channing Tatum is another Sony employee who has nothing to fear, because this leaked missive is the greatest of all time!
22 Jump Street had just beaten out Ted to become the second-highest grossing R-rated comedy of all time, and to celebrate, Channing wrote to Sony and his costar Jonah Hill:
We're not sure how this would work and we don't care AT ALL.
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones have made a ton of money from the Men In Black franchise, and Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill have done the same thing with 21 Jump Street and its sequel.
But would combining the two franchises into one film crossover be a good idea? Hell, this STILL sounds like someone is trolling us!
Well, Sony Pictures was apparently thinking it would be — according to some emails that were revealed after the big hack and leak that happened to the studio recently.

What Channing has to say about another 21 Jump Street flick makes it sound like three-quels aren't really his thing.
After 22 Jump Street spent the whole movie making fun of the idea of sequels in general, Channing doesn't think that going undercover with Jonah Hill for a third time makes any sense. He says:
23 Jump Street…it's happening! Funniest. Trilogy. Ever.
Sony Pictures and Original Films have tapped Rodney Rothman to pen the script for the third installment in the Jump franchise, which makes sense seeing as how he was one of the writers on 22 Jump Street!
No word yet on whether Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will come back to direct, but the two of them, as well as Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are attached to produce along with Neal Moritz!
The job is theirs to have, but according to sources say that aren't committed to direct.
Well, we're just happy a third part is in the works.
