Seems like Tom Cruise is still single after all!
Last week, reports were flying that the actor was about to pop the question to his assistant, Emily Thomas, but it looks like it was all rumor.
A source says the 53-year-old is NOT dating his on-set assistant from Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, and that it's ridiculous that anyone's spreading that story to begin with:
"They're not getting married, They're not even dating. Nothing is going on. It's completely professional."
Emily is in a relationship, just not with Katie Holmes' ex-husband. The 22-year-old's boyfriend's name is Alex Roberts, and he's a director at a carpentry firm in the UK.
Hmmmm. We wonder if Tom has his eye on anyone else on the movie, since Emily is totes off the market?

Nothing like a workplace romance!
According to rumors, Tom Cruise is about to pop the question for the fourth time!
And who is the lucky gal?
It's none other than his personal assistant Emily Thomas (pictured above)!
The actor met his reported lass last year on the set of his upcoming blockbuster Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation! The 22-year-old British babe was appointed the 53-year-old's on-set assistant.
And it looks like sparks flew!
According to an insider:
We knew Tom Cruise was a talented actor, but this might just be the most terrifying movie footage we've ever seen!
For his upcoming blockbuster Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, the 53-year-old was set on doing his own stunts to make the film look as legit as possible.
Well, we think he got just a bit more than he bargained for when he filmed eight separate takes of himself standing on the side of an airplane as it takes off into flight!
There's a reason this is the fifth movie in the franchise, and it's all because of Tom's above-and-beyond dedication to his craft.
Oh, and if you have a fear of heights, this video is definitely not for you.

It was announced on Monday that Tom Cruise would be partnering up with the Church of Scientology to create a massive film and TV studio right in the middle of Hollywood.
We're hearing that the $50 million dollar lot will include two sound stages where the 53-year-old actor will film all of his blockbusters from here on out — Oh, and it's supposedly going to be so huge that it will rival Universal and Paramount!
Daily Mail reported that former Scientologists who knew about the studio plan believe that Sea Org members are currently just months away from completing the building process on Sunset Boulevard.
The religious group reportedly wants its new program to be Scientology's version of CNN, with an international reach spanning TV, movie, and even radio.
Plus, auditions for Katie Holmes' replacement are
Goose may be gone, but Maverick's still got the need for speed!
That's right! It looks like there's still life for a Top Gun sequel after all! The last serious talk about sequel to the Tom Cruise '80s classic was back in 2012 when the director of the original, Tony Scott, was out doing location scouting for the film This was of course right before Scott took his own life.
Since then, there hasn't been a whole lot of rumblings regarding where the project might stand — until now!
David Ellison, a Co-producer and the Skydance CEO said at a press junket for one of his latest movies, Terminator Genisys, that:
You had me at HIGHlarious!
Jonathan Lipnicki, the actor best remembered for playing the adorbz kid in the classic 1996 film Jerry Maguire, just dropped an AH-Mazing new video ode to his on-screen father, played by, of course, Tom Cruise.
From f-bombs to Show me the money ("that's not even my f*cking line, you f*cking f*ck," Lipnicki rages!) this is a trip down memory lane you shouldn't miss!

Someone call Olivia Pope on behalf of Connor Cruise!
He initially posted:
"Really?? Winning the AA award for courage?? Ashton is gonna come out and yell PUNK'D.
Don't get me wrong. Do what you feel like doing and don't let anyone stop you. But everyone is taking this way too seriously…There are so many more important things that should be talked about…And SO MANY MORE IMPORTANT PEOPLE that actually deserve an award.
Like the fact that we are overfishing and in 30 years there will be no more fish. Seems dumb but 85 percent of the worlds protein is fish. That's one of thousands of things that should be of a higher importance than what is currently being gone over…Or what about the fact that our planet is becoming less habitable on a daily basis. Yet the population is increasing at an alarming rate…Or the fact that we all can't even get a long on earth lol. We fight and kill each other. We have war and poverty. This needs to change."
His rant kind of took a bizarre — or is that just us?!
The 20-year-old has since deleted the posts and taken to the social media site to clarify his opinion.
