In a stadium filled with 90,000 people, U2 kicked off their epic world tour in Barcelona, Spain, last night.
As a tribute to Michael Jackson, Bono dedicated the band's beautiful song Angel of Harlem to the man he called, "a great talent." Towards the end of the performance, excerpts from Jackson's Man in the Mirror and Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, were sung by Bono in the King of Pop's falsetto voice.
Watch the video above to enjoy the very special tribute.
God bless the creators of Twitter and all the celebrity drama that has risen from the digital splendor!
We reported some time ago that Lindsay Lohan called out Justin Timberlake on Twitter for supposedly cheating on his GF, Jessica Biel. Now, LiLo is serving up more smack for Justin to chew on.
Colette, a trendy clothing store in Pars, just announced on their Twitter that they were adding JT's William Rast collection to their racks.
Apparently, Lindsanity thinks this is appalling and posted her hater thoughts on Twitter, saying: “i can't believe you are lowering yourselves to a MACY'S brand- i am speechless. Paris is chic not mid America. gross”
We don't think she really understands the kind of trouble she is getting into with that. To our recollection, there are a lot of big names associated with Macy's that have enough privilege and power to make her eat those words as well as whatever else they wanted to amuse themselves.
Just a few that come to mind: Mariah Carey, Martha Stewart, Tommy Hilfiger, CALVIN KLEIN!
As of Wednesday afternoon, Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson was granted limited control of 2,000 items from Neverland Ranch until the next hearing on Monday. The judge is hoping that the time will help facilitate a compromise between Katherine's legal team and the two co-executors of Michael Jackson's will — lawyer John Branca and John McClain, a music executive and a family friend
The items in question had been slated for auction earlier this year, but the sale was stopped after Jackson sued. Now, Katherine retains a "slim" authority over the items. Branca and McClain attempted to overturn the ruling, saying the authority was "granted on the mistaken assumption that Jackson died without a valid will." But the judge said he saw no urgency to give the executors authority over the Neverland items at the present time.
The hearing on Monday will go into more depth about the extent of Jackson's personal and business finances.
It's good Katherine holds onto the property for as long as she can. The second it leaves the Jackson family, we foresee the auction reassembling without delay!
Sin City's biggest douche, disillusionist Criss Angel, and former Girl Next DoorHolly Madison are back together.
Ugh!
The pair reconnected when Madison moved from El Lay to Vegas recently to star in the topless revue Peep Show at Planet Hollywood.
“Holly still had feelings for Criss, so around mid-June she gave him a call,” says a source. “She was thrilled when he asked to meet for drinks. They’ve seen each other a few times since!”
This is unfortunate for Holly!!!
She can do better! SOOOOooooo much better!
Update: Holly herself just Tweeted us to say, "Criss and i r not back together . . lol!"
A children's choir - not our friends at the PS 22 Chorus - have done an exquisite rendition of Lily Allen's Chinese, a song off her new album that she wrote about her mother.
