Aziz Ansari Returns To Stand-Up After Sexual Misconduct Scandal

Aziz Returns To The Stage

After Sexual Misconduct Scandal

Louis C.K. isn’t the only comic to return to stand-up following a scandal…

As we reported, in January, a woman with the pseudonym of “Grace” spoke to babe about an incident involving Aziz Ansari which she calls “the worst experience with a man [she has] ever had.” Specifically, the photographer accused the actor of pressuring her into performing several sexual acts even though she “was physically giving off cues that [she] wasn’t interested.”

The Parks and Recreation alum eventually responded, saying the encounter was “completely consensual.”

According to Vulture, the Master of None star has returned to the stage with a New York show in May, and a Philadelphia appearance earlier this month.

On Saturday, Ansari performed two shows in Milwaukee, one at the Pabst Theatre and the other at Turner Hall.

At the Turner Hall show, where all 700 seats were sold out, the comedian reportedly did NOT address the allegations.

However, a female attendee told the Vulture journalist that she considered Ansari’s alleged actions to be “very low on the scale of ‘bad date’ to ‘Harvey Weinstein.’”

Surprise guests included Wil Sylvince, Hannibal Buress, and Michael Che.

In July at a TCA Panel, Netflix Vice-President of Original Series Cindy Holland said the network “would be happy to make another season of Master of None whenever Aziz is ready.”

‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Teases ‘More Romance’ In Season 3

'More Romance'

Millie Bobby Brown Teases Sweet & Scary 'Stranger Things' Season 3!

Things we know about Stranger Things season 3:

There’s a mall. Strange stuff happens.

That’s about it! So when Millie Bobby Brown coyly answered some Qs about the highly anticipated next season, she probably doubled what we know!

Video: Millie Faces Off Against BIGGER Monsters In Godzilla 2 Trailer

She told E! News:

“It’s the summer of love, which means definitely more romance between our lovely couple Meleven.”

Awww. That’s Mike + Eleven for the non-shipping community (landlubbers?).

But it’s not all breaking the six inch rule with school dances at Hawkins:

“Obviously we have to add some Stranger Things mystery into it and it definitely gets very deep and scary.”

As for Eleven herself? Well, let’s just say we can expect yet another new look. Millie teases:

“Eleven’s style has escalated.”

Escalated past this?!

Stranger Things Eleven Punk Look

Stranger Things season 3 might premiere next summer (we think?) and has added new stars Jake Busey (Starship Troopers), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), and Maya Hawke — the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman!

‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Star Apologizes To Fans For String Of Inappropriate Tweets

'Deeply Sorry'

'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' Star Apologizes For Awful Tweets

Not your finest moment, Israel Broussard!

The 24-year-old actor — currently starring in the popular new Netflix film To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before — is desperately trying to contain the damage after several unacceptable old tweets were dug up this week.

Related: Controversy Comes For Melania Trump’s Cyber Bullying Speech!

Broussard quickly deleted the tweets in question, but not before they made the viral rounds on Twitter and across the net — and yeah, they are pretty damn ugly.

According to screenshots shared on Twitter, the controversial tweets in question reportedly included the following (below):

–Critical tweet comments about African-Americans participating in the Black Lives Matter movement

–Several homophobic tweets about the possibility that Broussard may one day play a gay character

–Alleged “like” activity on Broussard’s account for a series of anti-Muslim tweets

–A tweet claiming the Sandy Hook school shooting massacre was “staged” in order to “disarm the public”

–An allegedly racial remark about Japanese people presented as “a joke”

They’re all bad, without question — though that last one is particularly poorly timed considering the very movie that’s catapulted Broussard to stardom is also being lauded for its Asian-American romantic lead.

Regardless, the fall-out was swift, and Israel has released a public apology — also to Twitter — as you can see (below):

Yeah… Obviously, this isn’t ideal for Broussard or for Netflix.

Hopefully he understands why those tweets were so harmful in the first place and is truly repentant — not just embarrassed they were found.

What do YOU think of his apology??
