Uh Oh! Netflix Is Starting To Restrict Its Services Around The World! Does This Change Affect YOU?

Are you a Netflix user? In a country besides the United States?
Well, you better listen up then because the movie streaming service is cracking down on users around the world!
But… why? You’d think Netflix would want to keep users happy, right?

It turns out that consumers in other countries were using roundabout ways to bypass region locks and access the American Netflix catalog because it has different movies and television shows than their own country!
Sounds like they just want to access all the great television like Gilmore Girls and Friends!
But according to some tech geniuses, they’re totally NOT allowing it anymore!
Reportedly:

“Many users rely on VPNs ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ virtual private networks ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ or custom DNS settings to stealthily access Netflix as though they were in other regions. But Netflix may have started closing some of those loopholes. Torrent Freak reports that, in the past few weeks, popular VPN services like TorGuard have started seeing a spike in errors when users try to access Netflix.”

Well, at least they’re not cracking down on sharing accounts!
Because, ya know, that’s what, like, everyone and their mothers does with their Netflix accounts!
So that’s some good news at the very least!
