The producers behind the MTV Movie Awards must have been POOPING themselves last night after realizing that no, Jennifer Lawrence was NOT just really, really, really, late…

She's. Not. Coming.

One of the most coveted actresses on the planet was noticeably absent from the HIGHlarious festivities, and despite winning numerous awards, girl didn't even provide a VIDEO message offering gratitude and/or an apology.

But WHY did the ass-kicking champion of the Hunger Games skip out on the celebrations?

Well, apparently, a last minute

MTV is known for their CRAZY award shows and the 2013 MTV Movie Awards brought it to the NEXT LEVEL!!!

Besides the AHmazing performances by Selena Gomez and Macklemore, some major actors were honored with eXXXtra special awards.

Rebel Wilson not only brought some HIGHlarious stints to the Sony Pictures Studios stage, but she was also one of the BIGGEST winners of the evening, along with Jamie Foxx and Bradley Cooper.

As if Twihards weren't disappointed enough — now they didn't even get to see a smooch!

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper just walked away with the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss.

However, J.Law was nowhere in sight, so Bradley had to accept the honor all by his lonesome.

Yeah, that was a pretty impressive liplock at the end of Silver Linings Playbook… but you know, we just feel like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson should've gotten the chance to sweep the category one final time.

Oh well. hopefully they are getting some love time at Coachella.

The MTV Movie Awards got off to a strong start as Bradley Cooper took home the first trophy of the night for Best Male Performance!

We couldn't agree more after B-Coops put on a STELLAR performance and won over our hearts in Silver Linings Playbook!

Things got a lil awkward with his interesting acceptance speech, but he's sooo fine we love him anyways! LOLz!!

The movie has a big night ahead of it as it's also up for Best Movie and his costar Jennifer Lawrence is up for Best Female Performance as well!
