Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin could be facing a lot more than a slap on the wrist over their alleged involvement in a nationwide college admissions bribery scandal!
As we previously reported, both actresses, along with Loughlin’s husband Mossimo Giannulli and over 40 other individuals, have been arrested and charged in an alleged conspiracy over faking students’ test scores and bribing college admissions in order to get their kids into prestigious schools including Georgetown University, Stanford University, UCLA, the University of San Diego, USC, University of Texas, Wake Forest, and Yale.

The Desperate Housewives star is claimed to have paid $15,000 to have her daughter Sofia‘s SAT scores raised. William H. Macy, Huffman’s husband, is said to have no involvement. Meanwhile, the Fuller House cast member and Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 to make it appear that their daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose had been recruits to the University of Southern California crew team, despite them never playing the sport.
And if these parents aren’t lucky, they actually might be sent to jail, a real possibility the starlets are supposedly not be prepared for.
A Huffman source spoke to Us Weekly about their alleged involvement in the scam, saying:
“Neither actress knew this would become so serious. They haven’t fully grasped the extent of their alleged crimes or the possibility of prison time.”
Could they be made examples of??
It’s hard to say, but if either of them have even dared to go on the internet or set up Google alerts in their names, they’d see just how much this scam has taken up the public’s attention!
And people are pissed!

While we haven’t heard much about Felicity’s career prospects drying up, her peer has already been dropped by the Hallmark channel, on top of it being said she’s been fired by Netflix and won’t be returning for the final season of Fuller House.
Aunt Becky’s two daughters are also facing heat as reports claim Olivia and Isabella will not be returning to USC amid the fallout over fears they might be bullied.
Additionally, the 54-year-old actress’ YouTuber/Influencer daughter has already been losing sponsorship deals, with Sephora and TRESemmé severing ties with the 19-year-old.
Yikes!
But that’s got nothing on going to jail, which considering Felicity and Lori are facing conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud charges, might be a reality.
The two stars and Loughlin’s husband Giannulli will be due in Boston federal court on March 29 for their hearing.
