This is chilling stuff.
Two NYPD officers were tragically executed in Brooklyn on Saturday, and the shooter has been reportedly identified as Ismaaiyl Brinsley.
Brinsley was reportedly a gang member form Baltimore who wounded his girlfriend after he shot her in the stomach. He then drove to New York City to kill the police. He posted some Instagrams before the shooting, warning people of what he planned to do.

This is completely tragic.
It's being reported that two NYPD police officers were shot in Brooklyn at around 3pm on Saturday, in what one law enforcement source called "an execution." The shooting took place near the Tompkins Houses apartment buildings at Myrtle and Tompkins Avenues. Both officers have reportedly died.
The gunman reportedly was "pumping bullets" into their patrol car, which they were sitting in. The gunman then ran to a nearby subway station, where he was shot and killed. It's not clear if the police shot him or if he killed himself.
A high-ranking police official said:
"The perp came out of the houses, walked up behind the car and lit them up."
This is a completely tragic situation. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of these officers.

Lana Del Rey's song Big Eyes from the upcoming Tim Burton flick has been released, and it is magical! But not in a glittery magic kind of way.
The film is about Margaret Keane, who was known for her big eyed children paintings in the 1950s and ‘60s.
The song Big Eyes plays about halfway through the movie, but we have a peek at it before the Christmas film debut.
