This is unimaginably tragic.
The team did release a statement on the matter, though (below):
Those new rangers sure have their work cut out for them!
We've been mighty excited for Lionsgate's upcoming Power Rangers movie, especially after seeing the first looks at the fresh meat playing the new rangers.
At first, we weren't sure if the actress' sexy alien take on the classic villain would do the intergalactic sorceress justice.
But after seeing the first pictures of E.Banks in action on the Vancouver set, we can say we're officially terrified!
On Monday, the Hunger Games alum was spotted on set donning a green body suit and a long staff. Call Zordon and get the rangers, quick — because we do not wanna mess with whatever terror Rita is cooking up!

Prince left an indelible mark on the music industry — one finished with a truly impressive posthumous flourish.
With just eight hours left to the week in music, The Purple One's The Very Best Of Prince and Purple Rain soundtrack became the #1 and #2 albums on the Billboard 200 chart.
Now it's been revealed the number one selling song of the entire week was Purple Rain! It sold 122,000 digital copies, up from only 2,000 the week before.
In fact, SIX separate tracks re-entered the Hot 100 chart! Here are their rankings for the week AND their previous peak on the charts:
Did Kate Middleton say "yes" to a stolen dress?!
And before you jump to conclusions, the fashion house is already slamming the allegations as "ridiculous!"
As you may remember, Burton was honored for the gown that boasted lace sleeves, sweetheart neckline, and an almost 9-foot train.
According to The Sunday Times, Kendall claims that the Duchess of Cambridge's iconic dress would not have turned out the way it did without her sketches she sent in ahead of the wedding back in 2011.
Miz Kendall's lawyer Humna Nadim said in a statement:
Now that Twin Peaks is finally out of development hell, David Lynch is pulling out all the stops for his long-awaited revival series!
And by all the stops, we mean all the STARS!
Showtime revealed the cast members for the crime drama reboot, and in addition to several returning actors, we can expect a slew of A-list newcomers heading to the mysterious town!
In addition to series lead Kyle MacLachlan returning, actors from the original series set to reprise their roles are David Duchovny, Alicia Witt, David Patrick Kelly, and Harry Dean Stanton!
But not everyone in the OG cast is set to return — original cast members not featured on the cast list include Lara Flynn Boyle and Piper Laurie…
Oh well, who needs Donna Hayward or Catherine Martell with all that fresh meat! LOLz!
The new series, which will pick up decades after the original 1991 run, and will premiere sometime in 2017!

We always have such a good time on The Talk!
While we're saddened by the circumstances that led to our invitation, we're happy we got a chance to share our take on Prince's shocking death and all of the tributes that followed on the CBS talk show on Monday.
As you may have heard, Saturday Night Live upset a few fans over the weekend when their episode in Prince's honor stopped being about his musical performances, and instead started making fun of the legend.
Obviously, we found the scandal to be a bit of a non-issue since it was SNL, after all… being mocked by them is sort of the ultimate mark of success.
But did Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler, Sara Gilbert, and Sheryl Underwood agree with us??
We sure will miss ya, Prince!
