Jerry O'Connell might be playing a hot male nanny on the small screen — but he's totally not down with having one IRL!
The 42-year-old actor — who shares 7-year-old twin girls Dolly and Charlie with wife Rebecca Romijn — told Us Weekly that he wouldn't be comfortable with someone like his character on Mistresses hanging around his family.
"I'm not sure if given the chance to hire myself as a manny in my family, I don't think I would allow that to happen. I'm sorry if that's closed-minded of me. I just wouldn't allow that — I wouldn't be comfortable with that. I would explain to my wife and to my children that I was not comfortable with a manny around."
What's he so afraid of?!
But, considering the crazy number of Nannygates we've been witnessing, we guess we can't blame him!
The NYC native also said it was strange being the only real-life parent on the female-driven cast:
Can you believe it's been TEN YEARS since The Hills first became a thing?!
The classic MTV reality show gave Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari, and Heidi and Spencer Pratt their starts in show business and gave us one of the best crazy reality shows to ever take on the genre!!
Keira Knightley is an utterly spectacular talent, despite what one director has to say!
Last week, the actress was put on blast by John Carney, who directed the actress in his 2013 romance Begin Again.
During press for his new movie, the Irish filmmaker claimed that Knightley was a "supermodel" who didn't have the "honesty and self analysis" he thinks is required to be a legit film actor.
But Carney's opinions about Keira seem to be the vast minority, because other directors who worked with the actress are coming out of the woodwork to defend the 31-year-old!
Filmmakers Mark Romanek, Lynn Shelton, Lorene Scafaria, and Massy Tadjedin all took to Twitter to defend the actress and condemn Carney's "untrue" remarks.
Romanek, who directed Knightley in Never Let Me Go, wrote:
The Polish government isn't letting Roman Polanski off the hook that easily!
Back in the '70s, the Oscar winning filmmaker fled to Europe after pleading guilty to U.S. charges for sleeping with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.
But it looks like the Chinatown director will have to face a fresh extradition to the U.S. — because on Tuesday, Polish officials announced they would appeal a court decision not to force the 82-year-old to face U.S. courts.
According to reports, justice minister and prosecutor general Zbigniew Ziobro said his decision was because Polanski was "accused of and wanted for… a rape of a child."
As for the initial trial, Ziobro called the decision a "serious breach" of
On Sunday, George and his lovely wife Amal made a special visit to Rome to meet Pope Francis and members of his arts foundation, Scholas Occurrente. The exciting meet-up followed a few days of romantic outings in Rome.
According to sources, the couple met with Francis to talk about their plans to help the religious leader's foundation. Mr. Clooney will reportedly serve as an ambassador for one of the organization's projects.
Per the org's website, the mission of Scholas Occurrente is to "promote social integration and the culture of encounter for peace". It's not surprising the duo is collaborating with the foundation's mission considering Amal is an activist and human rights lawyer herself. Not to mention the actor is a longtime supporter of charities and other global peace efforts.
Prior to the special gathering, the pair enjoyed an unbelievable dinner at eatery Dal Bolognese overlooking the city's Rome's Piazza del Puopolo. According to insiders, the outing was exceptionally perfect and picturesque.
A staff member gushed to Us Weekly of the fine dining experience:
"They ate antipasto with Italy's finest prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella cheese and culatello, a very fine cured ham from Emilia Romagna. All the food was washed down with an expensive wine from one of the most famous Italian wine producers, Gaja, particularly famous for top red wines."
Yum! Color us totally jealous!
We'll be sure to keep you updated on the rest of the couple's trip and their upcoming work with the foundation. We bet the Pope really appreciates Amal and George's help!
